Top 5 Holiday Vacation Spots on a Budget

Posted by Glen Disque on

Let’s be honest, most of us will never spend a family holiday vacation gliding down the groomed slopes of Vail, or sunning on the beaches of Turks and Caicos. Fortunately, there are a number of options available for the rest of us that can be as much fun (or more so) than any expensive holiday getaway. The following list includes five of the most interesting and affordable vacations within driving distance. Just don’t forget to use your Necknapperz huggable travel pillows on the journey!

The criteria for choosing the locations was fairly simple. Most importantly, it must be family oriented fun. It also must be something that won’t lead to a second mortgage on the house, or risk bankrupting the kid’s college funds. And finally, it had to be something the family doesn’t need to fork over thousands of dollars on flight tickets to get to.
